Economy, Labor and Social Justice

Independence did not end neo-colonial economic domination, as former powers and global corporations continue to control resources, trade, and strategic sectors. African economies remain dependent on primary exports and constrained by privatization, austerity, and liberalization policies. We support movements, including trade unions, that advance economic and monetary sovereignty, defend labor rights, and promote social justice, enabling communities to shape their resources and development priorities. Our work challenges economic imperialism and advocates for locally driven, equitable alternatives.
